STEP SECTIONS & LADDERS CUT OUTS

The Walu Safety Cover can be manufactered to suit almost any pool. Incorporating step sections and roman ends is no problem and they are priced in proportion to the size required. Steps in the traditional positions along the width of the pool are covered by a section attached to the main cover. Steps affixed down the length of the pool require a seperate section plus a support bar to make the section safe and allow the main cover to travel over the opening of the step.

Ladder cut outs are tensioned all the way around the rail slits to ensure the safety of the cover is not compromised.

Shaped and freeform pools can also be covered with the Walu Evolution - details measurements must be supplied and a shaping surcharge applies.

COVER OPERATION:

Whilst the Walu cover is designed to be a fully functional manual safety cover, motorised assistance is available. The Walu Cool winding system is a low level, high torque system which sits neatly at floor level after being connected to the receiving bar of the Walu Cover (in ground systems only). A flexi-cord drive control extends from the base unit so the operator simply walks along the side of the pool as the system manoeuvers the cover off the pool. An integral carry handle and control storage compartment allow the Walu-Cool to be removed from the pool side easily when not in use. The Walu-Cool is fully rechargeable and requires no maintanence. Suitable for use with covers on pools up to 11m x 5.5m.

The Walu Winch is a deck mounted system which, when combined with a Walu-Cool, allows the user to also motorise the closing operation of the cover. Mount the removable winch onto the pool deck, feed the cover pulling strap through and use the Walu-Cool (sold seperately) to pull the cover into the pool.

QUICK RELEASE SYSTEM:

The new Walu quick release system makes operating any Walu cover easier and quicker than before by allowing the tensioning ratchets to be just loosened as opposed to being fully released and unfastened. The quick release system comes as standard with all new Evolution and Starlight systems and can be added to the price of a Walu Eco or Woodstar. The quick release system can also be applied as a retro-fit to an existing Walu cover.
