Polyweave GeoBubble™ Heat Retention Cover

Evaporation Prevention
The Polyweave GeoBubble™ cover significantly reduces water loss through evaporation by creating a barrier between the water’s surface and the atmosphere. Evaporation accounts for up to 70% of heat loss from a pool due to the high energy requirement of the process. To heat just one gram of water by 1°C requires 1 calorie of energy, but when it evaporates, it consumes 540 calories. By simply covering your pool with this material, evaporation is reduced by over 98%, preserving water resources and helping to maintain a warmer pool temperature.

Insulating Properties
The air cells within the material provide buoyancy and insulation, helping to maintain pool heat. Radiation of heat into the atmosphere is responsible for 20% of the heat loss from a pool. The combination of evaporation prevention, insulation, and the material's high heat transmission properties work together to conserve energy, reduce costs, and keep your swimming environment comfortable.

Installation Requirements
This cover will need to be shaped on-site for a custom fit. The maximum recommended temperature for use is 29°C.
